Bio:
Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) was one of Sweden’s most important ceramicists and designers. As artistic director at Gustavsberg from 1917 to 1949, he developed some of the most iconic series in Swedish design history. The Argenta collection, launched in 1930, became internationally renowned for its distinctive green-blue glaze and hand-inlaid silver decoration, uniting functionalism with exclusive decorative art.
