Bing & Grøndahl (B&G) was founded in Copenhagen in 1853 and is one of Denmark’s most renowned porcelain manufacturers. The factory became especially well known for its fine hand-painted porcelain and classic dinnerware. B&G developed its own version of the Blue Fluted pattern, inspired by Royal Copenhagen’s iconic 18th-century design. Their interpretation is characterized by delicate blue decorations on white porcelain and became popular both in Denmark and internationally. In 1987, B&G merged with Royal Copenhagen, but their legacy continues as part of Denmark’s classic porcelain tradition.
