Ceramics manufacturer in California. Founded in 1950 by David W. Lederman and William B. Freeman. Early productions included whimsical clay pieces designed by various artists.The firm subsequently found a niche selling porcelain kitchen and household wares made in Japan and designed locally by Lagardo Tackett and, later, his student, Kenji Fujita.
