Harald Bing (1848 - 1924) for Bing & Grondahl unique art nouveau table lamp in porcelain decorated with coloured beech branches, fitting with foliage of brown patinated metal.
Signed at the bottom in blue: To Johanne and Poul, 1904 and signed HB.
Height without mounting 40 cm. Height with mounting 71 cm.
Presumably a gift from Harald Bing (1848 - 1924), technical manager of Bing and Grondahl from 1868, to Poul Simonsen, vice president from 1904, Director from 1915 to 1944, married to Johanne Bing, daughter of Harald Bing.
1st. factory quality.
