Description: Peter Ipsen Terracotta Factory late 19th. Century: Terracotta plate with a motif by Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) with Nemesis reading out the deeds of men to Jupiter (“Justice”). B. T. Modeled this motif in Rome in 1810. Factory mark on the back stamped “P. Ipsen Kjøbenhavn Eneret (Copyright) 393”. In good condition. Minor repair at the "8 o'clock" position (left rim). The plate measures 22,5 cm
