Edith Wilhelmine Willumsen , born Wessel ( 1 January 1875 in Aalborg - 1 January 1963 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish sculptor .
Willumsen was in his younger years porcelain painting by Bing & Grondahl , but traveled around the turn of the century to America, where she became artistic adviser in a glass artist in New York City , where she designed and modeled pottery kilns. Returned to Denmark in 1902 she exhibited her first bronze statuettes of Charlotte's Spring Exhibition .
From 1903 to 1928 she was married to sculptor JF Willumsen .
Most of Edith Willumsens works are exhibited at the JF Willumsen's Museum .
